文章完成法によるspirituality評定尺度の開発

Abstract

背景 15項目5件法によるspirituality評定尺度(SRS-A)を用いた要因分析研究が、「透析外来患者22名と看護師13名」および「在宅療養者20名とその介護者20名」を対象に行われた。その先行研究によると、SRS-Aの影響要因として、【何よりも一番したいことは(Q1)】【一番の支えになるものは(Q2)】【周囲に対して強く感じていることは(Q3)】【自分のこれからは(Q4)】【病とは(Q5)】が示唆されている。目的 本研究の目的は、先行研究の分析結果を踏まえ、文章完成法によるspirituality評定尺度(SRS-B)を開発することである。方法 spiritualityについては、「何かを求めそれに関係しようとする心の持ち様であり、また自分自身やある事柄に対する感じまたは思い」と規定した。SRS-Bの質問項目は、【Q1】【Q2】【Q3】【Q4】【Q5】の5項目で構成し、SRS-Bの評定については5項目の回答内容を「否定的:0点」「中性的:1点」「肯定的:2点」と分類・数量化しその合計点によって示した。調査対象は、看護師162名(女性86名:38.34±9.17歳,男性76名:33.79±6.69歳)とし、全員にSRS-AとSRS-Bを実施した。結果 カテゴリカル回帰分析の結果、【Q1】【Q2】【Q3】【Q4】【Q5】はSRS-Aの影響要因であることが確認された(R^2=0.25, p<0.001)。また、SRS-AとSRS-Bには弱い正の相関関係が認められた(r_s=0.32,p<0.001)。SRS-Bの尺度としての信頼性については、クロンバックのα係数0.62とガットマン-折半法の信頼性係数0.65で確認された。結論 以上の結果から、SRS-Bが実用可能な尺度であると判断した。

Background Using "22 dialysis outpatients and 13 nurses" and "20 patients treated at home and 20 caretakers" as subjects, the factor analysis research that used the Spirituality Rating Scale (SRS-A) was performed. The results of precedent research indicated that Question (Q) 1 "What would you like to do most…," Question (Q) 2 "What provides your greatest support…," Question (Q) 3 "What do you feel strongly about your surroundings…," Question (Q) 4 "What do you think of your future…," and Question (Q) 5 "What do you think of sickness in general…." are influencing factors for SRS-A. Objective In this study, spirituality rating scale using sentence completion method (SRS-B) is developed. Method Spirituality is defined as the mental outlook of actively seeking something and endeavoring to relate oneself to it, as well as the perception or thought of oneself and particular events. SRS-B consists of the Q1 to Q5. SRS-B classifies the answers to each question into three categories: negative, 0 point; neutral, 1 point; and positive, 2 points. This method quantifies the answers and yields a total score (SRS-B score). Using 162 nurses as subjects, the answers to the Q1 to Q5 are obtained by the sentence-completion method and information about SRS-A is obtained from self-description by the subjects. Results Categorical regression analysis indicated that the five questions are influencing factors for SRS-A (R^2=0.25, p<0.001). Furthermore, a weak positive correlation was observed between the SRS-A scores and SRS-B scores (r_s=0.32,p<0.001). Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.62 and the reliability coefficient of 0.65 obtained by a Guttman's split-half method confirmed the reliability of the SRS-B. Conclusions From these results, it was determined that SRS-B is a practically usable measure of spirituality.
