大都市における疾病発生にともなう健康環境問題への人文地理学的貢献

Abstract

人文地理学における健康環境をめぐる研究は増えつつあったものの、新しいテーマ であるがゆえに課題もあった。まずは研究史における位置づけである。健康環境問題は近代化以降に限っても 100 年以上にわたって発生しており、人文地理学の研究も同様に歴史を積み重ねている。ただし両者の接点は少 ないので、人文地理学における環境思想の受容という観点から結びつけた。さらに、本研究では４つのテーマ （環境思想、居住・呼吸、食・疾病、エスニシティ）に注目し、大都市の健康環境問題における人文地理学的ア プローチの有効性を提示し、実証的な知見を踏まえて、人文地理学における健康環境研究の方法論を確立しよう とした。 Although research on health environment in human geography has been increasing, it has been a new theme because it holds reseach subjects. First of all, it is positioned in the history of research. Health and environmental problems have occurred for over 100 years, even after modernization, and human geography research has a similar history. However, since there are few points of contact between the two, they are linked in terms of acceptance of environmental thought in human geography. Furthermore, this research focuses on four themes (environmental thought, living and breathing, food and disease, ethnicity), presents the effectiveness of the human geography approach in health and environmental problems in large cities. It makes empirical findings based on these themes. We tried to establish the methodology of health environment research in human geography.
