Title: 希薄予混合圧縮自己着火に対する火花放電の誘発効果

Abstract: 小型直接噴射式ディーゼル機関を用いて,その圧縮比を通常の18から14まで低下させ,高セタン価燃料を通常より早期に噴射し,その予混合気の自己着火までの着火遅れ期間内に火花放電することで,自己着火を促進し,低負荷での安定した燃焼ができることを示した.   A novel combustion system in which autoignition is induced by spark discharge into a pre-mixture of high cetane number fuel formed during a long ignition delay time by using a direct injection diesel enging with low compression ratio of 14 was experimentally demonstrated. As the result, it was found that the combustion timing was advanced and the combustion stability at low engine load was improved by spark induced compression ignition system.
